Hi Schmidty,

Thanks for stopping by! It would be great to have you tune in. Have you considered subscribing to the feed to make it easier?

Do you have any beats or samples online or are you still working on them? If there is anything you need, just drop me a msg!

Cheers

Hey dude!

Definitely building an opportunity and skill network is one of the key tasks an artist should work on besides creating music. These are the guys you can turn to when you're stuck with something or need a quick solution. I'll be writing a couple of posts on a few techniques related to creating these networks for yourself, so make sure to check back!

PS: Just for the note, I allow my sister to hang out with you, cos you're a good guy AND because you're extremely good looking AND cos you have an awesome beard ;)

Cheers

Being discovered isn't quite as common anymore, most people like to invest in low risk assets. How can a musician lower his risk of default? Well, by establishing himself and get a business going. If he can make a sale and have fans coming back for more, it is more likely that he gets "discovered" in that sense. The Challenge definitely helps in increasing the traffic and odds of making your first sale.

Cheers!

It's a good question, which market to pick!

Maybe: Music - Music Promotion - Music Promotion Web 2.0

This actually reminds me of mypsace. Bands and artists used to get discovered by agents on those plattforms and actually got famous (e.g. Tila Tequila and Sean Kingston). "The Challenge" and Lalala Music combined could be seen as a manual to higher the odds to be a succesful/known musician through the web.

But I guess you could lay the niche -> micro-niche thing out differently.

My story is a humble one ;) I guess I am still exploring the opportunities in web2.0 and I am generally and genuinly interested in entrepreneurial stuff.
