The name’s Patrick Castiglia. I was born at 15:09h, on July 5^th, 1986 in São Paulo, Brazil. A short excerpt from my autobiography describing that day:

My mother says it was the happiest day of her life, my father immediately fainted during delivery, and I was screaming “Where’s my guitar, ****?!”

I’m going to keep this short.

From the small excerpt above, you can probably tell that I was born a musician. I moved around quite a bit because of my father’s work and ended up learning quite a few languages in the process. My final destination was Switzerland, which is where I got my bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of St. Gallen.

My relentless struggle between being a musician and becoming a businessman has only intensified in the last few years as graduation came near. Now that I have finally graduated, I am doing an internship at an investment bank (who would have thought?). The hours terrify me, the free time is vacuumed out of my schedule, and I have no sane way of getting together with my band to play. I have turned to entrepreneurship to help me create the lifestyle I want.

So I present you Lalala Music, an ultimate resource for every musician looking for information on how to create, promote, distribute and perform as an artist. I also intend to document every single step I take as a musician to show you my failures and successes.

I really wish that Lalala Music becomes the ultimate resource for musicians that I envision. I know this will take a lot of work from my part, and hopefully you guys will embrace my vision and share the values along the way. Good luck to all of you.
